I'm quite happy with my Onan Microlite 2800. More than enough power for AC+, fits nicely in generator compartment. It normally comes with a built in muffler which means it exhausts from the rear/bottom of the unit. Tough to disconnect should removal of the unit be necessary. A variation uses an external muffler so exhaust comes out front/bottom. Easier to disconnect if unit must come out.

I don't think you'd want to mount a portable in the coach even if it would fit.
