Howard,
Thanks for the reply. What concerns me about my coach is there is quite a bit of chipped off and sun faded off paint (original Imron) on the aluminum part where bare aluminum shows. And, given that aluminum is supposed to have some priming and bonding issues to begin with, it makes me think it should all come off. I have lots of other stuff to do before I get to worry too much about paint. It may be by the time I'm ready, I just schlepp it down to Jim Bounds and write the check. Jim will hate me saying this, but I sort of hope Topeka re-enters the GMC business in about 3 years.
