Expect to add water after, or during each trip. Especially in this hot
weather. You can take the drudgery out of maintaining batteries if you use
the Pro-Fill setup. All of the battery caps are replaced with special caps
connected to a single manifold. The manifold has a quick disconnect on one
end that snaps onto a fill line with a squeeze bulb and from there to your
source of distilled water. Three or four squeezes and you have topped off
all the batteries at once. It does not let you overfill and the whole
setup is transferable to your next set of batteries. No need to slide the
batteries out for service. I had several connections freeze and burst last
winter and Pro-Fill replaced all for free.
