the first gear thing for me was the vacuum hose to the transmission that slipped off on the bottom passenger side of the trans tube.

It was put back but the shop i went to would not tell me what it was until he slipped and said something, i was to think he

rebuilt the trans or something. it was just a hose slipped off the tube and the vacuum was stopped from being attached to the trans.

It slipped off when i down shifted on the freeway to stop for a big truck in front of me that slammed on his brakes and the vacuum was

some how blown off the tube in the under side of the trans and then it was stuck in first. I drove it 10 miles to MGM in first and

was never told what it was. I had just had it rebuilt by Manny. I thought manny had screwed up. How wrong i was, and i was not told

what did it for a few weeks till a slip of the lips that it was the vacuum tube slipped off. I thought manny had screwed up - what a

mistake that was. Manny is the best in the west and i am sorry i was asking him what happened because i was put in the dark by the

shop. It would seem to me that a shop would tell you what happened and not that he fixed the transmission and saved manny.

i was put in the twilight zone for no reason at all. That was just one of the many problems i had. fini.

If you stick ini first, check the vacuum tube to the bottom of the transmission and see if it has slipped off the tube leading into the

trans on the passenger side bottom middle area.
