Bob, what you say about folks being welcomed at the conventions when they join GMCMI is a fact. Even though Teri and I did not "green" tags on our first convention we were welcomed with open arms. Somehow we got blue, or white, tags. That made it easier for me to hide. Then, somewhere along the line, Rayne or Santa Rosa, it was learned I was a big ice cream eater. So, now you know why we do the ice cream socials.
While I don't know folks' financial situations I do know that most people that can afford a GMC can afford to be FMCA and GMCMI members. When I first joined I nearly carried the parts list with me everywhere I went.
Anyway, it is none of my buisness why some won't join, it is my buisness to spread the word, like you Bob. See you in Branson.
