Rob,

I hope you do get a chance to try the Hardblock as that in combination with the block-off gaskets should be enough to use even a cracked manifold if my thinking is right. I can't imagine that a vacuum leak would make it around the Hardblock, but it will be a great project if it works.

Let us know if you do get a chance to give it a try.
