I replaced my cracked 403 intake manifold with an edelbrock intake with block off plates. I changed the choke over to an off the shelf electric choke. It works good in warm weather but in temps below about 40 F it is a cold blooded pig.

If I set the choke good for warm weather, it pulls off way to fast in cold weather. I would recommend getting one of the "intake heat sensing chokes" instead of the "amperage heats the element type chokes". I plan to get one the next time I place an order with Jim.
