Seems like governors might be a good thing to latch onto. I don't know much about them. I know the car ones are a different calibration than the GMC ones, but Wally or someone was fooling with calibrations, and Jim K. offers rebuilt/recalibrated ones. Not sure if a car one can be tuned to be a GMC one or not. But, I believe they are unique from the 400's at any rate.


The governor on a 400 is much different that on a 425.
