Kelly,

I'm confused!

You have not advised what kind of suspension system you have on your GMC.

If it is the OEM system as pictured here:

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/markbag/p41812-new-air-bag.html

Those airbags are no longer available from the manufacturer Firestone. They
ceased production over two years ago. The only company that might have some
is Cinnabar in Michigan (800) 720-2227. When they had them the price was
$700 (seven hundred) each.

You have noted that the Triangle AS-Triangle AS-8423 are the same as:

http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/w01-358-9294-firestone-air-spring-sleeve-style

These bags or any other bag matching this bag can NOT be installed as a
direct replacement for the OEM bags.

As far as what system to buy I am not going there as I have an OEM system on
Double Trouble and I haven't driven The Blue Streak that has Leigh
Harrison's system enough to render an informed opinion.

Okay, the drawing at
http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/w01-358-9294-firestone-air-spring-sleeve-style
looks identical to the Triangle drawing I was referring to in my original
post. Am I not seeing this correctly? To me the the airbag looks like there
are two fittings in the top of the picture and no threaded stud? Also, is it
necessary to replace the cones that I currently have? They appear to be in
good shape based on my limited knowledge.
