Has Manny ever shared the mileage he gets with his 4 cylinder diesel?

We followed another GMCer to a 49er rally in Shady Cove OR. I made it
there and back with a full tank of diesel.
The trip was over 800 miles.
That tank, I got better than Gene's 8-10 mpg.
One time I was filling the tank and the pump stopped at $75.00. So I
put my card in and got another $75.00. Tank still wasn't full, in
frustration, I got in the motorhome and left.
We've been taking short trips so it takes a while before I need fuel.
