Most people go with the PD9245. Anything bigger will charge the batteries somewhat faster but is generally not needed. As to the combiner, some people like them and others do not. I have one and it works well. The combiner will keep your engine battery charged when plugged in. I would check your isolator and if it is ok, I would not get the combiner yet. Anytime you change more than one part, it complicates troubleshooting if the system does not work.
