The following takes two people.
1. Remove the gas line from the input to the pump.
2. Remove the gas fill cap.
3. Apply a little air pressure to the tank using an air compressor and a rag.
4. When gas starts coming out of the hose immediately attach the hose to the input of the pump.
5. Remove the air pressure.
6. Replace the gas cap.
7. Start the Onan.
An alternate method is to jumper 5 to 9 and then apply air pressure to the tank to assist the initial flow of gas to the pump.

Note: You only need to apply the air pressure for less than 5 seconds at a time
