The valve cover gaskets from the Olds 350 Diesel also fit the 455 (don't know about the 403). They are about twice the thickness, and can solve oil leaks from the bent/beat up edges of the original valve covers.

The 403 valve cover has fewer mounting holes than the 455. Sounds like the 350 diesel may be different than the 350 gas. They probably had to do everything possible to keep oil in those with higher crankcase pressures.
