Dan,

Looks like you have a cube shaped fuel pump -- not the Facet up and down model that was original to the Onan. The original had a filter in the bottom.

So I would agree with Bob -- you may either have a major air leak or an obstruction in the line from the fuel tank to the pump.

With your current set-up -- jumping 5 and 9 you would have fuel coming from 2 in your picture.

Corrected typo ---- on numbers.

When I jump 5 and 9, I can hear the pump clicking/whirling, yes. But I
don't think I hear it when it is cranking - hard to tell it is pretty
loud. I'll get under and see if something else has changed. It ran
before and other than gas level, nothing has changed. Thanks!

I believe the choke is closed by rotating it counter clockwise and you can play with that a bit but yiou should have fuel spurting out of the hose end number 2. I wouldn't fool with the throttle. I'm guessing your input to the fuel pump is restricted or sucking air--it's not visible in your picture. That line runs from the fuel pump, down through a fitting in the floor or bottom of the the metal housing that is bolted to the frame. From there it goes to the fuel tank. I would look all of that over closely. Can you hear the pump clicking?
