G'day,

Not Frank but you could make your life simple by sending the carb and distributor to Dick Patterson. He will rebuild the carb and
re-curve the distributor. He goes so far as to ask you what gear ratio you have and if you have a towd for the distributor re-curve.

The reason I say this is that AFAIK even with FI your mileage will be 8 to 10 mpg.

I would also suggest you give Dick a call to discuss what your engine goo roo says. Dick is the GMC MOTORHOME ENGINE GOO ROO! ;-)

Thanks
I think I am going for the out the bottom.

I like the changeing back to the carb.

I was thinking of how to do the same but using direct FI and telling the smog guy it was there for show.

Did you keep the stock ignition system?

Did you use the sock or rockwell intake maniford?

Is there any word on if they are going to extend the date for smog?

Missing it by one year really sucks.

Thanks
Cameron
