My point on the Detroit Locker was, they're about undriveable.  Start around a corner, there's a loud THUNK and the car jumps about a foot as it unlocks, straighten out and the same drill when it locks back up.  But, if you're addicted to 'light it up and go' every time you come off a light, and/or neglecting to get out of the gas when you select another cog, they will survive substantially more of that sort of abuse than a clutched limited slip.  Some of us were abusive of our rides when we were kids.

Johnny,

I could provide you with a long story about me helping JimK trying to source a locking differential but here's the Cliff Notes
version.

Won't fit.

Somebody will put a Detroit Locker in one of them one day.  For about five miles and one turn.
