They made a big difference on my coach. I definitely recommend them. GM added them for a reason. We should, too.

Hello,
this may have been mentioned ?....

Does fitting those steel guards to shield the fuel tanks from the exhaust pipes make any difference to this problem. Have considered fitting them just wondered .....

We discovered their existence a few years back after a clamp rusted on one mine and it came loose. Bob de Kruyff figured out that they were only installed on later coaches that were destined for California.

After that, several people were making them. Now the only one that I know that has them is Jim K. His are an improved version over the OEM ones on mine.
