John Richardson has two mounting locations for his ATAS 125 screwdriver. One is on the rear bumper for traveling and a second is on the top or near the top of the ladder for when he is parked. Both seem to work well. Obviously the real answer is to mount it in the center of the aluminum roof but that is not going to work clearing bridges, trees, etc. I have a motorized lifting device that allows allows the antenna to lay down on the roof when traveling but that really eliminates the use of it when traveling down the road.
There is no really good place.
