Tom,
Your generosity doesn't quit!
Having said that what's the cost for a re-core compared to the cost of the
aluminum radiator?
I'm sure it got discussed here before but I can't remember what prices were
quoted.
I do vaguely remember someone mentioning that the core needed to be 14 tubes
per inch; have I got that much right?

Subject: [GMCnet] Radiator Rebuild
I have the damaged radiator from Marc's GMC. Since only the end caps are
needed for a re-core, I don't want to store the entire thing. How do you
remove just the end caps and toss the highly damaged core? Will this
require a professional shop to do the deed? Or, can you just cut most of the
core off with a cut-off saw, about 2 inches from the cap. The object is not
to rebuild this radiator now, but to be able to supply the caps to someone
who has a desperate need.
Tom, no GMC = no radiator
