How do you remove just the end caps and toss the highly damaged core? Will this require a professional shop to do the deed? Or, can you just cut most of the core off with a cut-off saw, about 2 inches from the cap. The object is not to rebuild this radiator now, but to be able to supply the caps to someone who has a desperate need.
Tom, no GMC = no radiator

Tom,
If that is your intention, then a sawzall is a fast answer. I have gotten end tanks off with just a torch, but it is neither easy nor entertaining. With the price of scrap copper what it is, I would get a 6" fine blade and cut through the tubes as close to the tube sheet (the part that the tube are stuffed into) as I dared,
