North of Chicago by the state line. Wisconson is supposed to get slammed by the storm.

Our area is predicted 12 to 24 inches, 50 mph winds, blizzard conditions, lots of blow snow to pile up the snow.

My drive is in such a position it collects snow, whatever the forcast, DOUBLE IT for my drive.

Bought a snow blower a few years back , no battery electric start, pull handle for emergency.... worked ok for awhile... The plastic chute broke, cracked right down the middle, blew snow everywhere. I put an aluminum lining to hold it together and send the snow where I want it.
Then the cast electric plug for the starter began to arc, burnt away the copper on the plug blades and did a good job on the cord outlet too. Finally wouldn't start electrically. Cut of the damaged plug and outlet and wired together, now it starts electrically....
Using the pull handle, frayed the cord, it broke the cord.
The other day, instead of throwing snow 20 feet, it barely comes out of the chute, belt problems I predict.....

Great when they work, A dictionary of words, when they don't...
