Sounds like you are good. I pulled two pumps off mine. One is the factory pump working good and a spare kit.
Why did you have to post that poor old vdub sitting there anyway?

Thank you, yes, my Dana pump is good. If it does slow down I may consider the Zenith or similar.

As for the VW beetle, I was surprised to see one in the yard with the engine/transmission in place. Even the old rear bumper was still in place. Just photo recording some of the variety available in the yard. Amazing number of Volvo's -- but all I could remember that might work from a Volvo was the Sanden air compressor. I did linger over the Seville and wonder about the TBI and the distributor.

Trying to hone my "picking skills".
