Dan,
I realised my dream a lot of years back when I bought my first E type a 1968
coupe series 1.5, I sold it some 10 years later at a week moment and
regretted it ever since, it was the best and RHD. I since have had a LHD
series 3 coupe which I purchased in Seattle and whilst I was organising to
bring that back to Australia I located a 1961 convertable also in Seattle
which is in a very sad condition and needs a total rebuild and came with a
damaged fibreglass bonnet hence why I am on the look out for a steel bonnet.
Unfortunately I am searting to feel that I will have to on sell the E type
and buy one that requires no rebuilding mainly because I have two GMC's and
they are taking up all the spare time that I have.
I am sure you will find a good e type in USA for the money you are looking
at, you would have to pay twice that here in Australia. Good luck, and let
me know when you get one and send some pictures.
