G'day,
A high school buddy of mine's Dad owned an XKE. Larry and I would "borrow"
it when his Dad was out of town (figure out why?) and "cruise chicks." It
worked a treat! Wouldn't have to ask them twice if they wanted to go for a
ride!
Problem was there was no where to put them except on the rear deck behind
the seats!

Peter...I to, am on the hunt for a series 1 E type...but complete.
I missed a very nice unrestored coupe in florida a couple of months ago, for
25000....should have grabed it.
I love the lines of the coupe (not the 2+2)
