Most folks here know Richard Archer. He was one of the original guys to help start this net. He has had health problems and can no longer use his coach. It, along with matching Suzuki will be for sale @ Du Quoin. He has all kinds of publications and parts that go with the coach. I plan to pick it up and bring it to Du Quoin for him. He lives about 20 miles south of Du Quoin. The coach is famous and has been all over the internet. I will look for a link to some pictures and upgrades on the photo site. Maybe someone can help me out with the links.
He has nearly 50 grand in it. Will sell the coach and Suzuki, both blue and white and painted identical, for 30k. Should someone be looking for a good dependable coach with few miles on new engine and tranny, this is it.
We all hate to hear this but he is just not able to drive and use it anymore. Think about this one if you are looking. You can not buy an old coach and bring it to where this one is for this money, and, you get a toad with it.
Arch always said, "life is good", and it will be in this coach.

I'd guess that he'd be welcome at any rally or GMC Luncheon - even if he came in a Lesharo!
I miss his unique perspective, insight, and humor. Too bad you can't have a Great Cardboard Boat Race along with the Pinwood Derby in honor of this fine, kind, sharing man. Maybe some of the Pinewood Derby racers could cover themselves in Cardboard! Uh, the pinewood, that is...
I've never met the man, but I feel that I've known a small part of him.

Arch is the reason I have white ABS plastic as headliner material in my
coach. One of the best decisions I ever made. That stuff is bulletproof!
He is one real good guy!

Sorry to hear that. Arch was one of my most favorite people to run
into at a rally. I also heard that Bud and Marlene are going to put
their GMC up for sale. Wife and I are trying to put together a long
weekend at their place in Idaho. I will try to find out more. Talk
about a pair of beautiful coaches...........Terry

Arch is a great guy and I remember from my GMC days that he had an "Arch" enemy on the forum. It was great watching them spar.....from afar.

If any wanna'be's are thinking about pulling the trigger - everything we've been saying about fore-going a long and eventually expensive resurrection of a Gmc motorhome by finding a good deal on one already done - THIS is it. The toad and tow equipment alone is worth 6 grand. Arch was my first contact immediately after I purchased my rescue, extremely helpful and a true mentor for newbies. I'm really really sorry his health is preventing him from continuing on with us. THANKS Arch.

Yes, this is a nice dependable coach. I failed to mention that Arch has the same tire monitoring system on his coach, and toad, as I do. I got mine on his recommendation back in 06.
Someone will get a great coach here.
I was told that Arch was at Du Quoin today visiting with Ray. Glad to hear that.
