Does anyone make the rear most metal brake lines that run from the rubber hose down the bogie to the wheel cyl. Went to pull the GMC out to go have it aligned and pop.

Brian,

It won't have the bends you need, but you should be able to buy a pre-made
line, with the correct ferrules and flares, from any good auto parts store

I had my rear bogie brake lines made at Inline Tube in Michigan. Then I broke the ones going from bogie to bogie so I ordered the hole stainless steel kit from Classic Tube in NY $300.00. I did not use the rear bogie ones that came from Classic because I had already installed the Inline tube ones.

I have all four short pieces all bent and ready to install on the rear. I think I paid Inline Tube $80.00. $20 buck each.

How about $40.00 plus shipping?

G'day,

I have mentioned this before on the GMCnet. I purchased a SS brake line kit
from Classic Tube two years ago and found that it fit rather poorly.

If I had to do it again I would buy the kit offered by Tom Hampton of
Grandview Motor Homes. It is more expensive but I have spoken to a number of
GMC owners who have installed it and they noted it fit PERFECTLY!

Regards,

Brian I have a full set of rear lines that I did not need as I have disks and they wouldn't work. All pre bent. Lcalcharly@juno .com if you are interested.

I ordered the set from classic tube and had the same experience as Rob had (I already had mine when he first posted this). The bogie tubes will require a fair amount of finessing where they attach to the wheel cylinders.
