Since I've had my coach its always had a super heavy accelerator pedal. it looks like the PO added an extra return spring on the carb linkage to get the throttle to close. well when I added my new carb I also left the spring on. but now im noticing that the actuator rod on the gas pedal itself is taking a set and when I step on it it bearly opens the throttle unless I reach down and grab the pedal and bend it back up, this is only a temp fix as it grabs a set again. now I know that doing this this eventually will weaken the metal and the rod will break. so what is a way I can fix my accelerator problems, it seems there may also b som binding in the cable perhaps? maybe this is why the PO added the heavy spring to it?

thoughts and suggestions?
