Left Friday for Bradenton, Fl. 83 miles, 165 round trip. Coach ran beautifully.
Used the Onan to power the Ref and the House A/C. Cruised at 52 - 55 mph, 17-18 inches Vac, Coolant temp 190. Ambient temp high 80's low 90's. Total fuel consumed equaled 7 mpg, vs using the dash air I get 8.7, vac 15-16 and temps 193.
We bought this Coach on Sept 10, 2009 and after 5500+ miles and on our first Anniversary last Friday I finally saw another GMC while Driving ours. Heh, it passed me, I did catch up with it at the Rally though. <BG>
On my way back was involved in a minor fender bender. The other driver tried to turn left when I happened to be beside him. Made contact with my right front Lug nut covers, removing 3 of them, then hit the lower panel, door hinge, Air step, rear lower panel and the LP storage door.
Looks like the Hinge has been slightly bent creating a bigger gap between the jamb and the door. The Air step is destroyed.
For some reason, the Onan quit on impact. On restart, it would not carry the A/C. Kept pulsing, changing RPM which caused the blower in the A/C to do the same thing so I used the dash air for the rest of thee trip home.
Will be taking another trip to see Jeff Sirum Monday to get it repaired.
