Anyone have access to a wiring diagram for this console?

Keith's is for a '98. My wire colors are slightly different.

Here's what I think...

Dark Grn = 12V switched
Blk/Wht = Ground
Lt Grn/Blk = Temp Sensor (+)
Yellow = Temp Sensor (-)
Gray = Illumination
Brown = VSS??

His diagram shows '98 colors.

I'll look and see if I still have them.

There are two versions of that display. One is the dumb one. That is the one you want as it only does Temperature and Compass.

The second version has more wires and monitors the data bus. That version displays fuel remaining in miles, mpg, and a bunch of other stuff. My 98 Blazer has the intelligent one. My wife's 99 Jimmy has the dumb one. The intelligent one was sold as an added feature. If your console has "Homelink" (the built in Garage door opener), then you probably have the intelligent one. It is possible to take the homelink out of an intelligent one and install it in a dumb console. I did this in my wife's Jimmy.

I'll try to find the number of wires/pins (and colors) on each version. I believe the dumb one has 6 wires and the intelligent one had 8. I need to verify this as it was several years ago when I was working on them.
