The kid is looking to buy a diesel 2003 Dodge Sprinter with 245,000 miles on it to use it for transportation and a base camp for him and his mountain climbing buddies. Asking $8,000 New trans.Not smoking. He drove it and no obvious issues. Anyone have any experience with the diesels in these and is 245 K a high miler for this 5 cylinder Mercedes in it?

Any thoughts appreciated.
