Well,,,,a week and a half ago I pulled it out of the garage and noticed it was ideling poorly. Almost like a miss. Pulled each wire at the dist. No change except got bit twice. Fiddled with the air screws. No help. Went and got the Vac gage. Odd reading with the needle jumping???? Went to look for my notes and looked it up on the net. Stuck valve,,,what the??? Pulled the plugs which is tough on the right side when its hot(tall valve covers to clear the rockers). 170 on #8.(left rear on caddys)120 on # 6,,Did it again,,,,90,,,thats really bad. BUT valve an't stuck, right. Put the plugs back in and put it back in the garage.(AC and Heat if needed) Pulled the cover and the intake valve rockers pin that holds the roller had moved out about 1/2 way. So the roller cocked at an angle(unsuported on one side). No damage to the valve or retainer. I had purchased full rollers(pivot and tip) from Potters in TN because my originals were shot with 165k or 265k miles. He made the stands but the rockers are BB chevys from Probe(they make pistons but mine are Ross) New rocker should be here today and then the testing continues but of course its going to rain. Maybe i should have bought Probe pistons instead of Ross. Incradable story about shipping though. Tld the "Boss" sunday nite that if she mailed it monday morning instead of afternoon after work we could gat a jump on it by a day. Left the address of Potters and said "wait untill I call, it will be after 7 because its a eastern time zone". Potter called at 7:15 and said to wait it needs to go to Probe(CA). He called at 10:15 and gave me the address. Called the boss and sha said she SENT IT!!!!! Oh no,,Thats an extra week. So I called the post office and a guy answered. Told my tale of woe. Put me on hold for 10 min. Came back and said he found it and then RE-ADDRESED IT. I WAS STUNNED. Next time any of you guys ship gold bullion let me know. I got the US post office on speed-dial!!!!! Wish me luck. ALSO,,,I listed parts I,m bringing to Duquion, but forgot I have 2 complete hub/knuckle/dics/caliper assemblys.,,,,PL
