Guys
Could someone point me to a reliable source for the correct part number for the motorhome carb on a 455.
Also is there an import/export problem shipping my old carb to Dick Patterson in Canada?
TIA
Randall

Randy, I believe you can find this information in the GMC manual. Also Dick
has a web address and can advise you on best method for shipping
internationally.

From Gene's site...
--------------------------------------------------

The carb number is on the left side of the carb, on the flat surface
above the throttle shaft. The number will run vertically, and there will
also be a number which is the day of the year and the last digit of the
year it was manufactured.

No - Dick will tell you how to ship it and how NOT to insure it so there will be no import/export problems. I went through it with him a few months ago, no problem.

I can't speak for Dick but when I did mine the turn around time was very reasonable, less than a month.
