G'day,

Well not really.

The drive from Gainesville to Americus was pleasant and un-eventful. No
dramas, couple of vapor lock incidents after stop lights but no problem.

Got to Ken H's place and pulled up onto his pit to check the underside for
any problems and as I walked down the steps I noticed his drip pan was full
of anti-freeze and Ken noted it was coming out of MY radiator! Damn!

We drained the radiator, removed Blaine's radiator protector, JR Wright's
spoiler, cut the plastic trans cooler mounting straps that went through the
radiator removed it.

Once it was out we discovered that two of the three plastic straps had worn
through the radiator tubes! Ken handed me a scribe and I poked it into the
tubes that were leaking and they were so thin I suspect this is the original
30+ year old radiator!

Suffice it to say that I would not use straps to hold the trans oil cooler
to an old radiator again.

Regards,
Rob M.
