Got this installed on Friday.
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/data/5589/Overhead_Console.jpg

Work done by Custom Audio here in Eugene. We incorporated another set
of speakers into the mounting as well as replacing the OEM 4" speakers.

I know there are instruction out there somewhere to get the compass and
thermometer to work, and I thought I'd saved them when I bought this
thing a year ago. Can't find it anywhere.

Any information appreciated.

Thanks,
Kelvin

Nice job!
I'd like to know how they matched the contour of the ceiling, they did a good job.

There are 2 different thermometers

And here's how to wire it in,
Leave the speed sensor disconnected

How does a 6'5 guy get into a GMC at all?
Besides it's in the cockpit, you have to be like 3 years old to be able to stand up in there!

Which is why I didn't even try. These guys are very good at what they
do. Longtime buddy of mine. We go way back in the Datsun 510 World.

I like the looks of yours better. Sleeker and simpler. I just really
wanted space for another set of speakers. Ended up a bit... bulbous...
but it rocks. (or swings, should that be your gig :^)

Awesome. Thanks.

A 6'5" guy would have a hell of a time. At a mere 6'4" it's not a problem.

Seriously - the AC housing is much more dangerous. When you're tall you
either figure out where the top of your head is or you bleed a lot. Not
a big deal.

The instructions for the compass on my 2000 Blazer said to drive around in circles for a couple of rotations. I forget if it was widdershins or clockwise.
