Since the tree won the battle with the ladder after I backed into it I have
most of the parts from the older style GMC ladder under the shed.

I really don't feel like recycling them but they must have some value.

Cheers,

I have been told that marine places can bend and prepare the same size tubing that our GMC steps will fit. I have a bent ladder, that I did a little trading for, out in the garage. Don't mention it to Teri but I am hoping to take the steps off and see if I can get a custom made set of rails that will go over my rear solar panel and mount to the roof. If Teri finds out she might try to get me to purchase a pod and I am not doing that.
Anyway, might be worth checking into.

If you are not going to run a pod, why bother with the steps? The coach looks much better without steps. If you seldom need to go up there, you really don't need to haul around steps.

late to the party on this one, but I am in need of one of the "straight" ladder brackets:

If anyone has an extra one, please let me know.

Thanks!
