Our coach came with a Delta TV antenna, a small color TV, runs on 120/12 as
well as a VCR that runs on 120/12v.
The spouse unit thinks it is time to upgrade.
Suggestions?

Len,
Sorry to take so long to answer this question. A friend of mine recently
opened an RV parts store and was given one of these to "demo":

It's extremely small and is hardly noticeable on the roof. I was completely
amazed at the reception. I've debated getting one, but we kind of have a "no
tv" rule while camping.

I like the simplicity of this Jensen unit, but I have a question: Since this is an over-the-air signal I'm assuming you'd need either a digital receiver box or have a digital TV. Correct?

I have to do more research. I did read a few reviews (Google it), not good.
I have two of those converter boxes stashed away somewhere.

This antenna is very similar to the Winegard circular antennas..A photo of one was linked to in a recent post. It is an Omni directional design and receives equally well in all directions. Since it has no direction orientation, it may not work as well as the traditional batwing design, especially away from TV transmitting towers. However, close in it works well. At my location, with the digital towers scattered in all directions, it is nice not to have to rotate the antenna to change stations.
Get a nice Flat screen, that will fit in your coach. I have a 20" that I got at Wally World, and it suits my needs. No built in DVD, but that's okay. Look for one that allows you to run on 12v DC. I use a small inverter, but wish that I had a direct 12v connection. I really dislike add-ons to make stuff work.
