A few GMC owners have asked for the writeup I did when we replaced our body isolation pads. Bdub (Billy Massey) suggested it should be published for all to see. So he graciously put it all together and provided the links. Remember, this is just how we did our pad replacement - your mileage may vary. Smile

John,

GREAT document and resource. Thanks SO MUCH for all your work putting it together and online. I haven't started the process yet on mine, but this will Definitely help. Gives me some confidence that I might be able to get it done in spite of personal lack of mechancial aptitude. :-)

Thanks again.

Agreed.

Did the practice on another coach help with training for your task?

Bill and Jay,
Thanks for the kind words -

Byron,
Of course it did. Did you ever finish yours, or is that a moot question, now?

Not moot at all. We'll be in Silver Lady at DuQuoin.

Two motorhomes are better than one. You get to take the one you want, when
you want, if it's working. Hah!

As to the replacement, I've never gotten things loosened up enough for the
pads over the brackets. I was intrigued by what you did.

I'm replacing the flooring this weekend. Measure, measure again, step out,
cut, step back in, place Pergo, start again. The Jacuzzi helps.
