Monaco is making a lot of noise about their new Vesta motorhome. It's one of the nicer ones I've seen that isn't cargo-container sized. It's priced at about $200,000.00. I saw it on the recent episode of American RVer. The Monaco fellow said it's the first vertically integrated motorhome built since the GMC.

It has some pretty neat features - the awnings are built in to the roof structure - double pane glass - lots of storage - 6kw diesel Onan.

Still it's 17,000 lbs. heavier and $185,000 more expensive than my Palm Beach.

I wonder what I could do to the Palm Beach with the money lost in 3 years of depreciation and interest payments - maybe $75,000?
