It's has come time to put the $$$ where my mouth is...All advice needed and appreciated.

#1-How do I remove the WETBATH and Cabinets from the stove back to replace the floor?

#2-What are the materials that I will need to complete this project? (Best type of plywood,screws,bolts,insulation,e.t.c)

#3- What are some of the other upgrades I should do at same time?

I really don't have an idea if I am asking the proper questions,so if there's something I should know,PLEASE let me know!

Attached is link to floor that need to be replaced.

As always...Thanks in Advance.

Unless you are replacing the plywood sub floor, you don't (and shouldn't) need to remove these items. flooring goes around them, plus the bath module would need to come out with a sawzall or you have to remove the rear panel from your coach, as is the case when the coaches are outfitted.

I wouldn't expect the closet module to come out in one piece easily no matter how hard you try. It is old, and made of sawdust and glue.

I had rear floor rot too, but it didn't extend past the bath module. I just cut where the wood was still good and put new wood in it's place.

Here's the photo of the glass bottom boat option...

Frank,
Take some time and assess all the floor that you can access to determine the full extent of the rot. The floor in your year coach is, I believe, 3/4 inch plywood with an aluminum skin on the bottom - I see you found the aluminum Confused -- Hopefully you will not have to replace under the wet bath module. As for the two areas in your photos, just cut back to a metal cross piece and put in new plywood -- pressure treated may be best.
Many of us have discovered the multi-tool at Harbor Freight to be excellent for cutting in tight places and making square cuts like will be required to get at your rot.

http://www.harborfreight.com/multifunction-power-tool-67256.html

Have you been able to see under the coach and check the frame for rust?

Good luck and come back and let us know the full extent of the rot.

Dennis

Check out this article and pictures. One of the last pictures shows rear cap off and ramp going up into the motorhome. Might be the only way to remove the bath module in one piece.

Frank,
The important thing to fix before repair is what caused this problem in the
first place and by the look of your pictures you have submitted you have or
have had water entering the inside of your coach. This needs to be rectified
or your good repair work will have to be re visited in the future. You are
going to have to remove the roof lining, making it easier to find water
leaks remembering that the leaks are not necessarily over the damaged areas
but the water travels along the aluminium extrusion before it finds a low
spot to fall, generally this has an effect on the higher cabinets wood
damage but as indicated can cause damage lower down depending where it is
soaking from. Windows leaks could also be a source of your problem. The last
source that could be one of your problems especially the floor is the
plumbing leaking which is much easier to pin point because you can presurise
the system and if there is a leak then it is pretty obvious. Best of luck on
what appears to be a a restoration for some time to come.

I just removed the rear hatch and took the wetbath out that way. Have
to tip it over on its side but I did all of the work by myself.

I've been looking at moving my bath . I think after removing the ceiling you should be able to move the bath toward the center of the coach then slide it forward out of your way.

Good luck, Glenn

I had already removed the propane box, Onan box, couch and dinette, so
it was just a matter of moving it forward and laying it over then
tipping it on edge. Better with help but I did manage by myself. The
trick is to have room to tip it on it's face then turn and up on edge.
I took it down to the bare ribs and scrapped all of the old foam
insulation out. I've replaced the rotted sections of the under flooring
(anyone need elevator bolts?) and have almost got all of the rewiring
done, next comes new spray in insulation, then . . . . .
