Well my fuel tank refirb is almost done.
Tanks are back in after being cleaned and painted and have new metal fuel and vent lines. The old lines were pretty bad even though they had been replaced once before.

I painted the bottom with a thick layer of Koolseal mixed in with some micro balloons I found at the local hobby store. I also am running a second vent line.

and since this is a Royale I'm actually hooking the generator up to the generator tap on the main tank!!! Stupid coachman.

But that darn vent line uses 1/2" line, no one around here has it
where do you guys get it?

Bernell Hydraulics, about 1500 ft. (ATCF) from me. But that
doesn't help you.

They are a hydraulic hose/fitting shop and a Parker
distributor. I would guess that if if you have such a place
near you, they would be able to fix you up with whatever you
need. Bernell had both the 1/2" steel tubing and 1/2" fuel hose.

You're not likely to find such things at run of the mill
auto parts stores. Heavy truck parts shops are a good
possibility. I'm lucky here in that the Fontana/Ontario area
is a huge truck hub with parts, service and accessories for
large vehicles located everywhere.

If you don't have such a place near you, it would be worth
the trip to get the right stuff. Google "hydraulic" "hose",
etc. and the biggest city near you.

Keith,

I just bought 4' of 1/2 line at AutoZone last week to replace the line from
the filler tube to the metal line on the driver's side.

$1.19 per foot

#004949 65000 Goodyear.

They looked it up and said it was heater hose, but good for oil, grease
contact, gas etc. I wasn't sure, but I figured it is not going to carry
gas.

If someone has something better - pipe up please.

Keith;

What you need is the Goodyear 65000 series hose, for 1/2" it will be #65116. DO NOT use hydraulic or heater hose. Go to this site and it will show the hose and do a search for 'where to buy'.
