Hello everybody. I'm new here and have recently purchased a 1976 Glenbrook in need of a lot of work. I am going to attend to the mechanical issues first. And I have 2 questions I hope somebody will answer for me.

1-Can I replace the flex brake line , on the front wheels, by driving the vehicle up on wooden ramps and replace them without removing the wheels?

2- Should I ask for flex lines for a 1976 Totonado?

I have mauuals for the MH but couldn't figure this out. Thanks for any help.

1- I think you can, but it would be FAR easier to take the wheel off. You are going to have to bleed the brakes after changing the line. AND... Might as well look at everything while you are there.

2- You need two of the same side from the Toro. I can not remember what side... the longer side. BUT... I priced them a month or so ago. They are about the same price as the SS braided lines from JimB. <http://gmccoop.com/Box.htm> I plan on changing all 4. (It is ALMOST the next item on my list, so I need to order soon.) I am pretty sure the rear lines will have to come from a GMC MH shop.

Thanks Mike I'll check out what you've recommended.

My MH is in a remote area and everything will have to be done manually. (I didn't even want to try to loosen the lug nuts)

Get your brake lines from Jim B. Bullet proof ones for the front and rear.

I got my teflon lines from Jim B. The old lines were a bear to remove. We ended up cutting them off.
