We rolled about 280 miles back home from Eureka Springs today. Rain half of the way and dirtied up my coach and vdub. No fan clutch that works but temp sat at 180 most of the time, even with all of those climbs, lower going down hill. 9 mpg which I thought was pretty good since we were up and down almost the entire trip with the Vdub in the rear. Would have been less with the Vibe.
That Camp Leatherwood is a great remote place to stay, 15 bux a nite. As I said earlier, we met Bill and Bobbie Bramlett's son. Was a great week in the Ozarks. No traffic this morning either.
Dan,

I don't get what you are talking about Gene. With the Vibe in tow we get less than what we got today, with your old Vdub.
