Short answer: Search Tempest. http://www.searchtempest.com/
Long answer: (This might be to much information)
I search Craig’s list about once a week. I search all of the US
about once a month. Every now and then I compile a list of links. It takes
a few steps.
I use Firefox due to it’s Tabs and how it handles bookmarks. Then I
use Search Tempest http://www.searchtempest.com/ and search any distance
from my zip code for Recreational vehicles with GMC.
I get a separate list for each city. I try NOT to open an ad by clicking on
the link, I open in another Tab. (Or window for something interesting but
not TZE… GMC Buffalo buses and the like.) Searching is a little
easier with a scroll mouse.
When I am done looking at a city list I close the list for that city. It
will bring up the next city. Depending on how much I get distracted by
interesting listings, it takes a few hours to cover the whole USA.
As the number of tabs (ads of TZE’s) pile up, I move the Search
Tempest tab over to the right end. Making it easier to switch between the
latest ad and Search Tempest.
When done, I end up with a bunch of tabs of one ad each. I use
Firefox’s “bookmark all tabs” function to gather the
URL’s in a temp file folder. Then I use “Organize
bookmarks” to open the folder and cut and paste into the note pad.
(This step doesn't seem to work with Explorer.) I compare the notepad
url’s with the tabs, making notes and removing duplicates.
Then I cut and paste into a forum message. Easy as pie! (I have been told
making pies isn't really that easy... )
I find it interesting to note how many coaches with high asking prices, do
not even bother to post a picture. Makes me wonder if they really have a
coach worth $30,000 (and up) or are just very optimistic.
