Dave,

Here's a note from a cousin of mine in Waycross, GA. He spotted the GMC on
a used car lot a couple of days ago and stopped back for the VIN at my
request. Do you have it?

Ken H.

Ken- looked at the GMC - sign on it says 1975 - $16,900.00 - Serial #
TZE165V100665 T-Z-E-1-6-5-V-1-0-0-6-6-5
I'm pretty sure those are the numbers. They were on a plate on a box with
black paint on it under the left hood.
Has a bunch of invoices inside with all of the work that has been done on it
since 2002. New windows, bathroom, engine, drivetrain, etc.
Totals up to $29,000 according to their paperwork. The inside is nothing
special, they must not have completely restored
the interior as far as the cushions, etc go. It has a red and a blue stripe
down the side with Spirit of 76 on them. Just looks
like a 75 model RV with nothing that stands out good or bad, just typical.
But it looks good enough to give it a good cleaning
and load up and head to Disney World with Cole and Ella Beth. Interesting
to look at though. JP

TZE165V100665 was originally set up as a rolling display for coffee
urns and was based in Highland Beach, FL Then it was for sale from 12/97
to 4/98 at Bee Motors in Leesburg, FL and I lost track of it. If your Cuz
knows where and who owns it, that would be nice to know.

Thanks to you and Cuzzin J.P.!

If this is the same coach, it certainly has had a lot of changes. When I
last saw it in '97 it was a all carpeted display shelving stacked with
various models of fancy coffee urns. It had a head but no sleeping
accomodations as I recall.
