The toilet flange in our coach has the toilet mounting bolts at 11 and 5 O'clock. To replace the toilet I need a flange that has the mounting bolts at 3 and 9 O'clock. I am putting a new seal kit in the Thetford unit but we would like to find a new flange in the event that the seal kit does not do the job or has a limited life span. The flange in the coach has a broad metal base that the whole toilet sits on, it is not just a ring. I assume it is factory? Suggestions on how to proceed? Just go to Lowes and get a ring and get rid of the metal base plate? Any vendors carry a metal base plate and ring?
Thanks for any ideas.

What Hardie said. I just put a new toilet in mine, and I believe the old toilet and flange were original. It was a Thetford AquaMagic III toilet, had a plastic flange, that was threaded to a short length of 3" threaded pipe, that was threaded into the waste tank. The local R/V shop had a new 4" x 3" threaded flange for $8. There were 8 rusted wood screws holding the flange to the floor that located where the toilet bolts were located. I was able to drill the heads off the screws, pull up on the flange to screw it off, then use vise grips to remove what was left of the screws. New stainless screws replaced for that inevitable day when I get to replace the holding tank. No metal anywhere, so I'm thinking you might have had some help from a previous owner?
