OK, I am jealous. Everyone's signature looks great. Everyone's signature looks like it was written by a smart guy. I make my own web pages and made my living for a while based on my technology smarts.
My signature looks like it was typed by a dodo. My signature will not format.
I have tried putting <br> and other html characters in my signature to make it start a new line when I want a new line. Not so much with the success. I have tried using Windows and Mac browsers.
So, help my low self-esteem. Allow me to continue to enjoy my GMC and not be embarrassed with a sub standard signature.
Here it is:

Case Closed. I now can hold my head up high in the firm knowledge that I have a signature that looks as good as the Smart Guys' signatures. I no longer have to feel inferior and will not have to alter my name tag at Du Quoin.

This is one piece of advise that my mother gave to me that I only seldom
adhere to.It is better to remain silent and let people think you don't know
nuthin, than to open it and remove all doubt.

James,
Your Mother must have read Abe Lincoln;
" It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt"
This quote has stuck with me since 1955 or 56. It was a poster on the wall at my jr hischool.
It tempers ones exuberance.

Yes, only works on me sometimes. Seems I am plagued with the old foot in
mouth disease. It has gotten somewhat better with age. I have been hard of
hearing since being around 105 and 106mm Recoilless Rifles and other large
guns in the military, and everytime someone says Shutup, I hear Stand up and
the fun begins. Age has slowed that trait somewhat too. Ha

Jim,
So you're one of those 106mm guys! Did you know that the 4.2" heavy mortar
was 107mm. We never did let the 106 guys forget that. Only problem was, we
had a hard time hitting the target with wind and all. I never did see a
106mm miss. All I knew was that if I heard a single 50 caliber hit my APC
the S*&T was about to hit the fan.
And firing the 4.2" from inside the APC - not good for the hearing. Like
sitting in a steel drum and lighting cherry bombs. The rest of the crew
didn't like that I took the filters off the GI cigarettes and used them for
ear plugs...2 sets a day.
Maybe that's why the GMC fan/clutch noise doesn't seem to bother me - or
it's not working!
