Can't really tell about mileage since we only use the premium in the mountains where mileage is lower anyway. I would not guess it would be better on the flat. Same with apparent power since we don't ping on 87 flat or up. I have not experimented with trying advancing the timing since our coach runs so strong anyway. One curious thing is the great difference in smell. I may use premium on our way home to see if mileage changes in any measurable way. I will let you know if we see any change.

Jerry,

Have you seen any difference in mileage with the premium fuel?

Jerry,
Does the regular with alcohol have a sharp aroma like a paint stripper thinner? The premium a more mild, less intrusive aroma?
