Folks, forgive the shameless cross-post, but I am immobile until I can get some wheels.
If anyone has a spare eagle 034 or Alcoa LTS (These are the star pattern) wheel available, I need two, preferably three.
I have four Eagles, and need two more to re-tire my coach. Two Alcoa's would be fine too. A third would make a nice spare, but I can wait for that as I have a good 16.5 spare, it just weighs a ton.
I am stuck as my 16.5's are starting to come apart, as they are way over age, and I can no longer drive my coach safely. I am trying to avoid buying two new round hole style unless I absolutely have to.
I am hoping that a few of you may have one or two rat-holed that would be willing to part with them for a fair price.
You can contact me off-net at cchoffataz at yahoo dot com, or PM me here if you are using the forum.
This may also be an opportunity to use me as a catalyst of you have an LTS/034 spare but your coach does not have those on the ground, as I could buy a matching spare from someone who has one and trade you out.
Just looking to solve a problem.
Eagle does not have any in stock anywhere. I do have a line on two new ones, but I am losing hope on those. JimK has none.
Thanks in advance!

Just stay away from my coach. You can not have my 034's. I may have to station Jasper and Clyde out there to watch it when I'm not around.

How depressing for anyone that wants a different look for their coach. 14 million SOB's are also running with the same classic wheel whether Alcoa or Eagle.

I considered 17"s but the lower profile tires would ride harder. Not really worried about tread wear, as they still would age out before they wear out.
there are some really nice 17 and 18 inch dually wheels out there, however.

Non Hub Centered. Eagle has not yet made a hub centered 034, and I'm not holding my breath. I have two non hub centered on my front axle now, and they seem fine.
They have shanks on the lug nuts that sleeve into the holes and center everything up. Discount Tire torqued them in the air as well.

CB,
Chri$ and I and have been talking about non-HC 034's. I don't think there ever were HC 034's. Jim K has the HC 058 classics special made for those of us wanting a HC'd wheel. I have never had a HC wheel amongst dozens of muscle and sports cars I have owned and never had a problem other than my own stupidity not torquing things. You just get good at the chimp method of using all 4 of your god given appendages to get things on and started. LOL

oops, redundant post.
How were they at Discount? Didya get the Comp T/A's? I've been doing business with them for 10 years but never seen an rv at any location. They are welcoming my future biz

Discount was great. They listened to me. Jacked the coach as I instructed, and torqued the fronts in the air with me on the brake pedal. They also worked with me on tire price.
I have four more tires on hold, plus the mag-lugs inbound, and four caps from JimK, so should have all six done by saturday, plus a cheap spare.
I went another way with tires than the BFG's and we'll just leave it at that. I'm happy with my choice.

One on, no difference.
You're right about all four appendages. Actually you use five. The head is
great for actually taking charge.
