Am considering replacing the original dinette in my coach with a U,
actually a half U, seating/dinette eating arrangement, with a removable pedestal table, which would convert to a 'single' bed rather than the double available with the dinette (we don't really need the extra sleeping area). - I've seen this type set up somewhere among the many pictures on one of the sites, but can't seem to find it anywhere.

If my measurements are correct, this should give me a lot more floor space, a more 'open' look and (I think) a more comfortable dining arrangement, not to mention the additional storage under the seats.

I found a source that can fabricate the seating frame and another source that can make up the cushions and seat back along the wall for me BUT I can't seem to locate a source for the original type fabric (the kind that originally came with the coach). - The original fabric is not the beige stuff, but its the combination of beige, lite brown & dark brown material...mostly darker colors.

I'd want to stay with the original style material/fabric (we love the 'retro look') and not 'mix & match' or change over the entire interior.....I can re-use the material from the original dinette seats & seat backs, but I don't think it'll be enough and before even starting out on that project, I want to make certain that I can get additional material if needed. - When completed, I'd like it to look as if it came that way from "the factory".

I guess my question is, does anyone out there know of a source for fabric for a 32 year old coach. I know it's like looking for a needle in a haystack, but knowing the resources of the contributors to this site, I thought it would be worth a try.

Thanks,

Steve Nowak
