engine hatch clips - alternatives [message #96620]

I finally got around to putting a hinge and 2 gas springs on my engine hatch. Does anybody have an alternative for the original fastening clips? Seems like there should be a single twist version folks have installed . . . the OEM clips are great but require multiple turns.

Any ideas?
